What is WellSync?

WellSync connects patients with licensed medical providers to provide fast and affordable access to prescriptions when needed, saving patients from having to interrupt their day to visit a doctor’s office or urgent care.

What does asynchronous care mean?

Asynchronous care allows patients to receive care without the need for live interaction with clinicians. Patients complete a clinician-approved assessment questionnaire at their convenience, which is then reviewed by a clinician to determine the appropriate treatment.

Your privacy and the safety of your data are extremely important to us. The platform has been crafted in accordance with all applicable privacy regulations.

Who can use WellSync?

WellSync is available to adults 18 years old or older in most states within the United States. However, each condition has its own treatment protocol designed by healthcare professionals and in compliance with your state’s regulations.

Can I use WellSync in my state?

While the WellSync services are available throughout most of the United States, certain states have laws that prevent clinicians from writing prescriptions without a live consultation and/or lab work. To see if WellSync is available to you, start an assessment questionnaire and enter your state.

Does your pricing include medication(s)?

No, the pricing does not include the cost of your medications, and the prescribing of medication is at the sole discretion of the provider.

Why wasn’t I able to complete the process?

Your condition may not be treatable via an online questionnaire. Please consult your primary care provider or urgent care.

How long will it take for a provider to review my questionnaire?

A medical provider will be able to review your questionnaire as soon as one hour.

How can I track the progress of my submission?

After your submission, you will receive an update through email or text whenever your submission has been viewed by a medical provider.

How do I update my payment information?

Payment information is updated each time you submit an assessment questionnaire during checkout.

When will I be charged?

You will be charged for the assessment when you submit your questionnaire. Payment for prescriptions (if necessary) will be processed at your selected pharmacy.

Can I use insurance?

While we do not accept insurance for assessments, we pride ourselves on keeping the price less than the cost of most insurance co-pays. You can, however, use your insurance as you normally would to fill any necessary prescriptions.

How do I find my previous assessments?

Previous visits, profile information, and billing information can be found by logging in to your WellSync Patient Portal.

When will I be charged?

You will be charged for the assessment when you submit your questionnaire. The pricing does not include the cost of your medications, and the prescribing of medication is at the sole discretion of the provider. You are responsible for the payment of any medications at your selected dispensing pharmacy.

How do I know when my prescription is ready?

You will receive an email from WellSync indicating that there has been a change on your account. You may then login to the Patient Portal to view relevant messages from your medical provider as well as view any prescription information.

Can I complete an assessment questionnaire on behalf of someone else (such as a child or older parent)?

At this time, the assessment questionnaire can only be completed by the person seeking care

What is the follow-up protocol if the provider has additional questions?

After reviewing your assessment questionnaire, your medical provider may reach out for additional information using the phone number you provided. This may be in the form of a phone call or a text message if you opted to receive texts.

Who are the providers writing these prescriptions?

WellSync’s prescriptions are written by licensed and experienced healthcare providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and specialists, ensuring safe and personalized medication management for each patient.

How do I transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy after I have already selected one and checked out?

To change your pharmacy after you submit your assessment questionnaire, please contact the pharmacy the prescription was originally sent to and request that they transfer the prescription to your preferred pharmacy.

What if I have an urgent health issue?

For urgent or emergent issues, patients should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room or urgent care facility. The platform is not monitored immediately for urgent health submissions.

How do I know when my prescription is ready?

If the medical provider prescribes a medication for your condition, they will then submit the prescription to your dispensing pharmacy of choice. Any future communication will be between you and the dispensing pharmacy. When your medications will be ready is dependent on the dispensing pharmacy’s operating hours and processing times.
